Daring Installation Draws Visitors to Met Museum's Roof
The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York boasts some two million seminal works from ancient Egypt to contemporary America. But every summer, visitors are drawn upward —to the Met's rooftop to experience massive installations. This year, Tomas Saraceno's Cloud City is drawing visitors by the thousands. Although some critics say Cloud City is not real art, VOA's Daniela Schrier reports that the structure at the top of the Met is dazzling.
