July 28, 2005
Dear Uncle Steve,
Thank you so much for the CD coupons. I plan to go to the record store this weekend and buy a couple of CDs I have been wanting to get.
I start junior high next week. I must admit that I’m nervous about going to a new school, but at least a few of my friends from elementary school are going to the same school. I will miss my other friends, but I hope to make some new ones. I also plan to study harder than I did in elementary school.
I hope you can come to visit us. I would like to go to New York to see you, too. Maybe I can talk Mom and Dad into taking me there next summer.
Your niece,
Jenny
