Hello, I'm John Russell. Imagine you are traveling. You are in a store, a hotel, or in a cab. You need to make a payment of some kind.

How might you ask about acceptable methods of payment? That question is the subject of today's lesson.

To start, there are 2 major nouns you should be familiar with: cash and credit card.

Cash means money, especially money, which is immediately available. We generally consider cash to be a noncount noun. In other words, we do not make it plural.

Listen and repeat after me: cash，credit card, on the other hand, is what we call a compound noun.

Importantly, credit card can be made plural credit cards listen and repeat after me and be sure to exaggerate the ending in the plural form: credit card-singular, credit cards-plural. How might we use these 2 nouns in questions?
