John, are you ready to talk about grammar?
约翰,你准备好谈论语法了吗?
Oh, hi, Dr. Jill, I was just watching Back to the Future. It's so funny!
哦,嗨,吉尔博士,我刚才在看《回到未来》。这部电影太有趣了!
I loved it, too! The movie goes with the tense we're teaching today--the future perfect continuous.
我也很喜欢它!这部电影和我们今天要教的时态——将来完成进行时很配。
We're going to the future, too!
我们也要去未来!
I get it, because the future perfect continuous is like going to the future and looking back at the past.
我明白了,因为将来完成进行时就像是去到未来,回顾过去。
Let's see--how about if we celebrate your anniversary?
让我想想——我们庆祝你的周年纪念日怎么样?
By this September, you will have been working with me for six years!
到今年9月,你和我一起工作就整六年了!
It's hard to believe.
难以置信。
Your example has two times--one point, September, and a duration, six years.
你举的例子有两个时间点——一个时间点是9月,一个持续时间是6年。
Do you know another way to make the future perfect continuous?
你知道将来完成进行时的另一种结构吗?
You bet--the other way is using "be going to have been" plus a present participle followed by "when" or "by the time" and the second action.
当然——另一种结构是用“be going to have been”加上现在分词,后面跟“when”或“by the time”和第二个动作。
The action that takes place over a period of time is in the future perfect continuous and the action at a single point in time is in the simple present tense.
在一段时间内发生的动作用将来完成进行时,在一个时间点发生的动作用一般现在时。
Here's an example: The band is going to have been playing for three hours by the time the dance ends.
举个例子:在舞会结束之前,乐队已经演奏了三个小时。
That sounds like your band, John.
听起来像是你的乐队,约翰。
I think this means you have to plan some breaks, right?
我想这意味着你必须要安排一些休息时间,对吧?
You don't want the musicians to get too tired.
你不想让音乐演奏者们太累吧。
True, Dr. Jill. Three hours is too long to play music without a break.
没错,吉尔博士。三个小时不间断地演奏音乐太长了。
And that's Everyday Grammar.
以上就是今天的《每日语法》。
