Your example has two times--one point, September, and a duration, six years.

Do you know another way to make the future perfect continuous?

You bet--the other way is using "be going to have been" plus a present participle followed by "when" or "by the time" and the second action.
当然——另一种结构是用“be going to have been”加上现在分词，后面跟“when”或“by the time”和第二个动作。
The action that takes place over a period of time is in the future perfect continuous and the action at a single point in time is in the simple present tense.

Here's an example: The band is going to have been playing for three hours by the time the dance ends.

That sounds like your band, John.
