Hermione's white face was sticking out from behind a tree.
荷米恩苍白的脸从树后伸出。
“Harry, hurry!” she mouthed.
“快，快，哈利。”她叫着。
Harry could still hear Dumbledore's voice talking from within the cabin.
哈利还可以听见丹伯多在小木屋里讲话的声音。
He gave the rope another wrench. Buckbeak broke into a grudging trot.
他又使劲地拉了一下绳子，毕克碧开始了一阵小跑，
They had reached the trees….
他们就要到达树林了……
“Quick! Quick!” Hermione moaned, darting out from behind her tree,
“快点，快点！”荷米恩低声喊着。从树后冲出，
seizing the rope too and adding her weight to make Buckbeak move faster.
也抓住了绳子，两人合力，毕克碧走得又快了一些。
Harry looked over his shoulder; they were now blocked from sight;
哈利扭过头去看了看，现在他们在视线之外了，
they couldn't see Hagrid's garden at all.
他们已经看不到哈格力家的花园了。
“Stop!” he whispered to Hermione. “They might hear us.”
“停下！”他低着对荷米恩说，“他们可能会听到我们——”
Hagrid's back door had opened with a bang. Harry, Hermione, and Buckbeak stood quite still;
哈格力家的后门“嘣”的一声打开了，哈利，荷米恩还有毕克碧都静静地站着。
even the Hippogriff seemed to be listening intently. Silence… then —
连毕克碧都像是在注意地聆听着。沉默，然后——
“Where is it?” said the reedy voice of the Committee member. “Where is the beast?”
“他在哪儿？”委员那尖利刺耳的声音响了起来，“那只野兽在哪？”
“It was tied here!” said the executioner furiously. “I saw it! Just here!”
“它刚才就被绑在这里的。”刽子手愤怒地说，“我看见它就在这儿？”
“How extraordinary,” said Dumbledore. There was a note of amusement in his voice.
“多么的奇妙哇！”丹伯多说，在他在语调中有一丝惊喜。
“Beaky!” said Hagrid huskily.
“毕克碧！”哈格力焦急的叫着。
There was a swishing noise, and the thud of an axe.
一阵“嗖、嗖”的声音，斧子一声落在了地上。
The executioner seemed to have swung it into the fence in anger.
好像是刽子手愤怒地把它扔进了栅栏内。
And then came the howling, and this time they could hear Hagrid's words through his sobs.
然后，传来了一阵哀号声，这次，他们可以听到哈格力的呜咽声了。
