China's tourism authority has urged the country's tourists to boycott Japanese right-wing chain hotel APA which has refused to withdraw books from its guest rooms that deny the Nanjing Massacre during World War II.
中国国家旅游部门已呼吁中国游客抵制日本右翼连锁酒店APA，该酒店日前拒绝将否认二战期间发生的南京大屠杀的书籍从其客房中撤走。
Zhang Lizhong, spokesman of China National Tourism Administration, said this is a blatant provocation to Chinese tourists and has violated the basic ethics of the travel industry.
国家旅游局新闻发言人张利忠日前表示，APA酒店的举动是对中国游客的公然挑衅，违反了旅游业基本公德。
The Japan branch of the administration has urged APA to withdraw the books.
日本行政部门已经敦促APA连锁酒店将相关书籍撤回。
However, official statement of APA said "Japan constitutionally guarantees freedom of speech, and no one-sided pressure can force any assertion that is made to be repealed."
但是，APA连锁酒店的官方声明却写道：“日本宪法保障言论自由，不能允许因单方面的压力就收回主张。”
Zhang said the administration has asked the whole industry to stop doing business with APA hotel chain.
张利忠表示，中国国家旅游局已要求全行业停止与APA连锁酒店的合作。
"We also hope all Chinese tourists should boycott the hotel," added Zhang.
张利忠补充说道：“我们也希望所有中国游客能抵制该酒店。”
