Japan has four main islands, eight regions and 47 prefectures
日本有4大岛屿，8大地区，47个一级行政区
if it's your first time visiting, it's probably very hard to choose where to go
第一次来日本的话，你可能觉得很难决定去哪儿玩儿
so in this video let me show you some of the main places you can visit to get a taste of Japan
所以，这期的节目里，我想分享一些能够帮助大家了解日本的主要景点
and this time I went with All Japan Tours(AJT)
这一次，我报了AJT的旅游团
so let me show you how you can enjoy Japan in just eight days
所以，我要介绍的是如何用8天的时间玩转日本
we start off our trip with the arrival at Narita International Airport
我们的行程从到达成田国际机场开始算起
and then travel through ten prefectures before departing in Osaka
之后我们会游历10个县，最后从大阪离开
I won't be including the arrival and departure days
到达和离开的两天都不算在我们的行程内
so let's start off with day two
所以，我们就从第二天开始吧。
Good morning.
大家早上好。
In the morning,we will be picked up by our English-speaking Japanese tour guide
早上，讲英语的日本导游会来接我们
and then we will be taken in to all the locations by a private tour bus
之后私人旅游巴士会把我们带到一个一个的景点
At each location you arrive at, the tour guide we'll explain a little bit about the area and what to do
每到一个地方，导游都会跟你讲解当地的情况和注意事项
and then you will have free time to explore and wonder off yourself
之后就可以自由活动了
The first place we went to was Asakusa which is one of Tokyo's old traditional areas
我们的第一站是浅草，浅草是东京比较古老而且传统的地方。
There are many things to do and see here, including the temple and the very popular shopping street
这里有很多好看的好玩的，包括寺庙和人气很高的购物街。
which is filled with street food and souvenire
购物街有很多街边小吃和纪念品。
NakaMiseDori tends to be quite crowded, especially during daytime
仲见世商业街一般都有很多人，尤其是白天
but if you just go one or two streets away from the Main Street
但如果你从主街稍微走一两条街，
you will find many other interesting shops with less crowds
就能找到一些同样有趣的店，人还没有那么多。
Another favorite place of mine to go to is the Asakusa Tourist Inoformation Center
我喜欢去的另一个地方是浅草文化旅游信息中心
where you can get a free view of Sky Tree and a bird's-eye view of the shops and temple
在那里可以自由眺望晴空塔，还能鸟瞰下面的商店和寺庙
Don't forget to check out Sumida Park, especially when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom
千万别忘了去隅田公园，特别是樱花齐放的时候
Ueno Zoo is a large public park next to the Ueno station in central Tokyo
上野动物园是一个很大的公园，就在东京市中心的上野站附近
There are many things to do here, from temples, museums to zoos
这里也有很多好玩的地方，比如寺庙、博物馆、动物园等等。
It's also one of the most popular places to see cherry blossoms in Tokyo,
这里也是东京观赏樱花人气最高的地方
with more than a thousand trees lining at the central path
公园的主路上就有1000多棵樱花树
For lunch we had sukiyaki which is a very popular Japanese hot pot dish
午饭我们吃了寿喜烧，寿喜烧是一种非常受欢迎的日式火锅。
Sukiyaki consists of beef and vegetables cooked in a soy sauce and sugar soup base
就是把牛肉和蔬菜放在加了酱油和糖的汤里煮这样的一道菜
and then you can dip it in the egg
吃的时候你可以在鸡蛋里蘸一下
It was optional if you don't like it. But it's good, right
不过你要不喜欢的话也可以不蘸鸡蛋。但是蘸着也很好吃对吧。
So good! makes it like 10 times better
太好吃了！感觉比不蘸好吃10倍！
Getting around by the private bus lets you see views you usually can't see from the Train
坐私人巴士可以看到坐火车一般看不到的风景。
Meiji shrine is just behind the busy Harajuku station
明治神宫就在繁忙的原宿车站的后面
and it is a great place to go to, to be surrounded by nature and culture and the busy city
这是一个可以让你沉浸在自然、文化和繁忙的都市氛围里的好去处。
The Imperial Palace is where Japan's imperial family lives
皇宫是日本皇室居住的地方
Although you can't enter the inside of the palace,
虽然不能进到皇宫里面
you can enjoy the contrast of the high-rise buildings among the traditional Japanese gardens
但你还是可以感受到传统的日式花园里高楼大厦所形成的鲜明对比。
Tokyo tower is a symbol of Japan's post-war rebirth as a major economic power
东京塔是战后日本重新崛起，成为经济大国的一个标志
You can go up to its observatory and get a great view of Tokyo from the center
你可以到上面的观光台上去，从东京市中心好好看看周围的景象
The hotel we reserved is allocated in convenient locations
我们订的酒店在一个很方便的位置
in case you still want to explore some more after the tour ends
以防我们在旅游团活动结束之后还想在周围转转
hotel buffet breakfast is included every day
酒店每天早晨都有自助早餐
so you can enjoy a variety of different foods in the morning
所以，早上你也可以品尝到各种各样的美食

I thought well we're going to go to Hakone.
我们今天会去箱根
It is the resort area for a lot of Tokyo people
很多东京人都会去那里休闲
because it is just two hours' drive from here.
因为那里离东京只有两个小时的车程。
One of the main attractions in Hakone is riding the Rope way up to a Owakudani Station to see the volcanic fumes
箱根著名的景点之一就是坐缆车到大涌谷站去看火山气体
so at the top of Owakudani you can actually get a great view, a really great of Mount Fuji
在大涌谷山顶你可以看到非常壮观的富士山，真的是相当的壮观
you have to fing the black egg, so that's what we got to do right now.
在这儿你一定要去找那种黑蛋，我们现在就去找
Wow, if you eat this, you can live seven years (longer)
哇……吃了这个，可以(多)活7岁哦
yeah its taste is actually pretty good, it's like a normal egg.
嗯，还挺好吃，跟普通的鸡蛋差不多
The Peace Park has a nice wide open space atmosphere
和平公园很开阔
and there's another spot to see Mount Fuji up close
并且里面有个能够更近距离地观赏富士山的地方
For lunch we had deep-fried pork cutlet
中午我们吃了炸猪排
To make the sauce you have the ground the sesimi seeds and add a sweet tongkatsi sause to it.
弄这个酱的时候，你要把芝麻碾碎，再倒点儿带甜味儿的酱油
Another thing if you notice in the restaurant is that everyone is local
还有一件事不知道你注意到了没，那就是这里的人都是本地的
So nothing for tourist, so you know it's good.
所以是不对游客开放的，所以环境很好
Rather than taking just a ton of photos of the famous Mount Fuji
