The Guangdong Women's Federation dealt with 2,994 cases in which people wrote letters or paid visits to the federation to seek psychological counseling last year, up 21.9 percent year-on-year.
去年，广东妇女联合会受理了2994件投诉，民众写信或前往妇联寻求心理咨询，较去年同期上涨21.9%。

广东妇女联合会权益部门（rights and interests department）负责人表示，大多数咨询涉及家庭关系（family relationships），包括配偶关系（spousalrelationships）及父子关系（parent-and-child relationships）。
心理咨询上涨要归因于（attribute）人们日益加强的挫败感（heightened frustration），以及因社会和经济快速发展（rapid social and economic development）而增加的压力（added pressure），还有人们越来越意识到心理询问的必要（an increasing awareness of the need for psychological counseling）。妇女联合法免费为民众提供询问服务（offers such services free）。
