A couple was having supper.

The husband tasted the dishes and

complained,"It is terrible!"

The wife was rather angry and said,

"You know you are not married to a cook!"

That night when they were already

in bed,the wife heard some strange

noise downstairs and asked

her husband to go and have a look.

Unexpectedly he said

"You'd better go downstairs yourself，

You know you are not married to a policeman!

夫妻俩正在吃饭。

丈夫尝了一口菜后抱怨道：“真难吃！”

妻子十分生气地回答：

“要知道你娶的可不是厨师！”

当晚夫妻俩睡觉后，

妻子听到楼下有异样的响声，

便让丈夫下楼去看着。丈夫却说：

“你最好自己去看，要知道你嫁的丈夫可不是警察！”
