No.2 '*' 星号键

“*号”和“#号”相同，没有什么特殊的含义，可以用来做标记。此外，*号有一个特殊的用法，就是在单词中代替某些字母。

英文中一些不雅的词或者禁忌词，为了避免冒犯读者或观众，这些词不能完整地出现在书面文章、电视节目或者视频中，这时就要用*号来代替其中的一些字母。最常见的就是大家都比较熟悉的那个以F开头的词，通常会用*来代替中间的而两个字母。

正式说法：asterisk /ˈæstərɪsk/

n. 星号（置于词语旁以引起注意或另有注释）
