小华和小红在看到高考作文题后，两眼泪汪汪，回忆当年高考时候的勇猛，更加着迷地研究起了今年的语文高考作文题。

Xiaohua: Xiaohong, Xiaohong, Xiaohong. Check out the essay topics of this year's gaokao.

小华：小红，小红，小红。快来看今年高考语文作文题。

Xiaohong：Wow, the essay topic about the famous Chinese classical novel The Dream of the Red Chamber is quite challenging.

小红：哇！中国古典小说《红楼梦》的这个题最有挑战性。

Xiaohua：Yes. It's for Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan, Guangxi and Tibetan gaokao takers. Do you think it's fair?

小华：是啊。这是云南，贵州，四川，广西和西藏的考题。你觉得公平吗？

Xiaohong: Well, it's hard to say.

小红：嗯，难说。

Xiaohua：The essay required gaokao takers to decide the theme on the basis of their understanding of the reading material, a plot from The Dream of the Red Chamber.

小华：作文要求考生在阅读《红楼梦》中的情节后，自选主题。

Xiaohong: What's the plot about?

小红：什么情节？

Xiaohua：The plot is about the different names of a pavilion. One person directly quoted the words from the ancient text. Another person made up the name based on the antique prose but added his own idea. A third one created the name completely based on his understanding of the pavilion.

小华：是关于阁楼取名的情节。第一个人直接引用古文。第二个人用了古文并加上自己的想法给阁楼取名。第三个人完全凭自己的理解取名。

Xiaohong：So, it sounds hard for those who never read the Chinese Classical novels.

小红：所以，对于那些不读古文的人来说听起来好难。
