The Times:
If you were born in China in the early 1990s there is a good chance that your adolescent years would have been played out to a saccharine soundtrack from an Irish boy band.
Ever present for first kisses, first relationships and first break-ups were Westlife, who enjoyed global success while topping the charts in Britain 14 times between 1999 and 2006. Yet as their star has faded in Europe it is shining brighter than ever in China, where 27 million fans signed up to watch a gig streamed over the internet at the weekend.
