我们讲有家庭地位，这个表达很简单，就叫做have a place in the family. 比如：
I lost my place in the family when my younger sister was born.
我妹妹出生时，我就失去了在家里的地位。
另外类似的表达，家中有多个孩子的时候，可以说the first born child, the middle born child, the last born child. 独子就是the only child.
The first born child usually enjoy the exclusive attention of the parents.
第一胎出生的孩子通常受到父母的特殊照顾。
我们再说说“可爱”不同的表达，首先会想到形容词cute，adorable.这些很基础，今天和大家分享两个习语表达，更加有趣。

Be as cute as a bug's ear
She is as cute as a bug's ear. I love her so much.
她非常可爱。我太爱她了。
cute还有“耍滑头的”意思
Don't be cute with me, John. I know what you are doing.
别跟我耍滑头，约翰。我知道你在干嘛
