Smith: Do you think participating in social practice would interfere with your study?
史密斯：你觉得参加社会实践会妨碍你的学业吗？
Li Tian: Absolutely no. On the contrary, I believe social practice benefits my study.
李甜：当然不会，相反的，我相信社会实践还对我的学业有益。
Smith: I'd like to hear more about that.
史密斯：我想知道是怎么个有益法。
Li Tian: We spent a lot of time conducting a research on English teachers in the rural areas during our supporting the education activity in Guangxi. It's a great opportunity for us to collect the first hand data.
李甜：当我们在广西支教的时候，我们花了很多时间进行了一个农村英语教师的调查研究。那是一个很好的机会，我们能实地采集第一手数据。
Smith: What did you gain from that experience?
史密斯：你从那次实践中收获了什么？
Li Tian: Teamwork is important for a team. I heard what other people's ideas and shared my own thoughts.
李甜：对于一个团队来说，团队合作很重要。我听取别人的意见，并表达我自己的看法。
Smith: What else did you get from the social practice?
史密斯：你还学到了什么其他的东西？
Li Tian: I knew the importance of responsibility during the process of teaching the teachers there. They really wanted to improve themselves.
李甜：在培训农村教师的过程中，我认识到了责任的重要性。他们是真的很想提高自己。
Smith: What ability do you think you need to improve after the social practice?
史密斯：在参与社会实践之后，你认为自身有什么能力需要提高？
Li Tian: I was not independent at that time. There are things that other people can't help you.
李甜：我觉得我当时不够独立。总有些事情别人是帮不了你的。
