GEOFF: And what about the reception?
LISA: Oh... we're intending to have an informal reception.
GEOFF: How many people will there be now, Lisa? Thirty? Forty?
LISA: Um.. there are going to be about forty-five, Geoff.

PLANS FOR THE FUTURE
1.TENTATIVE PLANS
MIGHT (IT MIGHT BE)
It might be agood idea to wait till November.
I'd like to have the wedding in the spring.
- Yes,it might be nice.
I WAS THINKING (OF)
I was thinking it might be a a nice idea to have a barbecue.
When should we have the meeting?
- I was thinking of having an outside reception.
“I was thinking... then I spoke to you…now I may change my opinion...
2.MORE DEFINITE PLANS
BE GOING TO
We're going to have a traditional wedding.
INTEND/PLAN TO
We're intending to have an outside reception.
注意:be going to比intend和plan更肯定一些。
3. FINALIZED PLANS
We're having the reception in the garden.
(Present Continuous Tense)
The wedding's at 3 o'clock.
(Simple Present Tense)
There'll be 40 guests.
(Future Tense)
I'm seeing Peter tomorrow night.
We're going to the pictures.
I'll meet you at the station.
I'll see you tonight.
