Resulting from：由……造成，由……导制的结果，from后面是造成该结果（后果）的来源，原因。作为动名词来修辞其前面的词：

Any damage to a book resulting from negligence must be paid for by the borrower. 由于疏忽而对书籍所造成的损坏应由借阅者赔偿。

My new book resulting from my inspiration makes a huge success. 我的那本来自灵感的新书大获成功。

Tom's failure resulting from lack of patience is a good lesson for us. 汤姆由于缺乏耐心而导制的失败给我们上了很好的一课。
