Most of the education centers on lessons from the book Hello Teddy. It is an English teaching series written by a company I work with. I take the flash cards for each lesson and use these to teach the kids. They enjoy saying the word and then reaching out and slapping the cards. We play games such as Hide-and-Seek where one will hide the card under someone's chair while the other closes his eyes and counts to ten. Then everyone chants the word in a softer or louder voice (depending on how close or far away the seeker is to the card). In addition to learning and reviewing simple words and phrases like, "I want ice cream", "I can see a monkey" or "This is my mommy" I teach them songs. My favorite is "Row, Row, Row Your Boat". I whole-heartedly agree that "Life is but a Dream" and so I enthusiastically sing along with the group.
