To improve student' ability to speak Chinese and enrich after-class activities,
为提高同学们的中文演讲能力并丰富课外活动，
the Students' Union of Department of Chinese Language and Literature is organizing a school-wide Chinese speaking contest on Saturday next week (27 January ) at the Student' Auditorium.
中文系学生会将于下周六（1月27日）在学生礼堂组织一场全校中文演讲比赛。
Those who are interested in taking part in it may sign up with the monitor of their classes before Tuesday next week.
有兴趣参加的同学请于下周二之前在本班班长处报名。
Five professors will be invited to be judges.
我们将邀请五位教授担任评委，
The first six winners will be given awards.
并给前六名获奖者颁奖。
Everybody is welcome to be present at the context.
