1.disinclined a.不愿的(reluctant)

词根记忆:dis(下)+inclined(愿意的)--不愿的

例:Many people are disinclined to recognize that their analytical skills are weak.

派生词:disinclination(n.不愿意)

2.disintegration n.分解(separation into component parts);瓦解(total destruction)

词根记忆:来自disintegrate(v.瓦解;分裂)

例:A comet's spectacular disintegration occurred in full view of ground and space-based telescopes last year.

3.dislocation n.混乱,紊乱(the state of being dislocated)

6.dismantle v.拆除(to strip of furniture and equipment);废除,取消(to put an end in a gradual systematic way)

词根记忆:dis(去掉)+mantle(覆盖)--去掉覆盖一拆除

例:The European Community has dismantled impediments to the free flow of goods among member states.

7.dismay v./n.(使)沮丧( to cause to lose courage or resolution)

联想记忆:dis(不)+may(可能)一因为不可能做到,所以沮丧-+沮丧

例:The news dismayed Anne.//John showed considerable dismay at his child's bad behavior.

8.dismiss v.解散( to permit or cause to leave);解雇(to remove from position or service)
