特大城市！
A megacity is a city with more than ten million people.
特大城市是指人口超过一千万的城市。
In 2017, there were sixteen megacities in the world. Six of them were in China.
2017年，世界上有16个特大城市。其中6个在中国。
In China, a lot of cities are getting bigger and bigger.
在中国，很多城市正变得越来越大。
They build a new skyscraper every five days!
每五天就会建设一座新的摩天大楼！
This is Shenzhen. It's a very big city in China.
这里是深圳。它是中国一个非常大的城市。
But forty years ago, it was very different. In those days, it was a small town with only 30,000 people.
但40年前，情况大不相同。在那时，这是一个只有3万人口的小镇。
But the big companies arrived then. Very soon, there were big factories and a lot of jobs for people.

These days, there are huge supermarkets, shopping centers, and skyscrapers.
