A bus comes to a gentle stop in front of a cinema. A man is having a cup of tea. He looks out of the window and sees a woman selling cakes. He wants to eat a cake. He sees a boy outside the window.
"Come here, boy!”, he says，‘‘Do you know how much the cake is?"
"Twenty cents，"the boy says. The man gives the boy forty cents and asks him to buy two cakes.
"One is for you and one is for me，"he says to the boy.
After a while, the boy comes back. He's eating a cake. He gives the man twenty cents and says，"Sorry，there was only one cake left."

come to a stop 停下来 gentle 温和的 look out of the window 看窗外left剩下（leave的过去式）

只剩下一个蛋糕了

一辆公交车在电影院前面缓缓地停了下来。一个男人在喝茶。 他看着窗外，看见一个女人在卖蛋糕。他想吃蛋糕。他看见窗外有一个男孩。
“过来，孩子！”，他说，“你知道蛋糕卖多少钱吗？ ”
“两毛钱。”男孩说。
男人给了男孩四毛钱，叫他买两个蛋糕。“一个给你，一个给我。” 他对男孩说。
过了一会儿，男孩回来了，他正吃着蛋糕。他给了这个男人两毛钱，然后说：“对不起，只剩下一个蛋糕了。”
