【辨】foretell, foresee, forecast, predlct

这四个词都表示“预言，预知”的意思。foretell与foresee相似，都表预知未来，与正确与否无关；forecast强调通过某些数据、信息来推测预报，如：wcathcr forecast; predict最常用，指根据已知事实推断，具有一定的科学性，如：predict the future。
