It's the rainy season in South China.As of Monday,most areas, south of the Yangtze River continue to see torrential rainfall, which has already lasted for over a week.The Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region is receiving the heaviest downpour.The extreme weather has triggered a landslide in Hechi City.Rescuers have confirmed at least two dead after dirt and gravel engulfed homes.Elsewhere in Guangxi, water levels have risen, flooding streets, houses and crop fields.Next door in Guangdong province, a mudslide occurred in the capital Guangzhou.Three people buried under the debris have been rescued. Efforts are also underway in other parts of south China to evacuate residents, as flood threatened.Authorities have raised the alert level, as heavy rain is forecast to continue in the coming days
