Tonight a race against time. Residents across Hawaii bracing for the very worst, with rain already wreaking havoc on the roads. Hawaii is gonna be impacted by Hurricane Lane. The question is how bad. The forecast tropical force winds, torrential rain, and high surf all expected to slam the state. Officials fear a disaster. They're telling residents to keep two weeks worth of food and water at home.
This is a rare event. Lane, one of these seven hurricanes to come within 300 miles in the state since 1992 when Hurricane Iniki devastated Hawaii. Today in Honolulu, some tourists refusing to give up on paradise. It'll rain hard and be a lot of wind, but I'm not too worried at this point. For the Marin Tate's, it's too late for refunds.
