由于阿富汗成功,美国巴基斯坦关系严重
U.S. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta has expressed confidence that the U.S. can mend its strained relationship with Pakistan.
He told reporters that a stable relationship between Washington and Islamabad is critical to the long-term progress in Afghanistan.
The US defense chief also emphasized that the mission of fighting terrorism supports both the U.S.' and Pakistan's interests.

Canadato withdraw from Kyoto Protocol
加拿大退出京都协议书
Canada says it will formally withdraw from the Kyoto Protocol on climate change.
The Canadian Minister of Environment Peter Kent says the protocol does not represent a way forward for Canada and the country would face crippling fines for failing to meet its targets.
The move, which is legal and was expected, makes Canada the first nation to pull out of the global treaty.
Canada declared four years ago that it did not intend to meet its existing Kyoto Protocol commitments and its annual emissions have risen by about one third since 1990.
China's family firms face succession problem
我国家族企业面临继承问题
Family businesses have been labeled China's economic "invisible engine", but a recent report says their role is threatened by the inability of many to persuade the next generation to take over the reins.
According to the report done by researchers from the mainland and Hong Kong, of some 1,000 surveyed entrepreneurs aged above 50, more than 40 percent expressed hope their kids would take over in the future, while only 35 percent of the younger family members confirmed their willingness to do so.
The report says lack of effective passing-down plans also contributed to the short lives of Chinese family businesses.
