China Urges Global Cooperation on Financial Crisis
China is urging greater international cooperation on the global financial crisis.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang said on Tuesday that China has adopted a responsible and constructive attitude in dealing with the crisis.
"China maintains that the international community should strengthen cooperation and jointly handle the current financial crisis on the basis of equal consultation. Meanwhile, developing countries' interest and concerns should be fully respected and safeguarded. China will keep in touch with all related sides on this issue."
Qin Gang said China appreciates the insightful proposals laid out by national leaders across the world to curb the financial crisis, but he also urged the proposals be quickly and fully implemented.
