Tibet will re-open its doors to foreign tourists on Wednesday.
Officials from the regional tourism administration said they have fully prepared and have confidence to provide a safe and comfortable environment for tourists from all over the world.
Local people are also welcoming guests. Gao Wen is running a yoghourt shop just beside Potala Palace in Tibet. He says he expects more foreign tourists to go to his bar to have Tibetan yoghourt and snacks.
"It is good news if Tibet resumes its reception of overseas tourists. Tibet is now quite safe and comfortable. I hope more people can come here to appreciate a real charming Tibet."
Tibet suspended its tourism after a riot incident on March 14, and resumed its domestic tour one month later.
