April 6, 2005
Dear Rebecca,
Thank you for your letter and your concern. It rained really heavily for a few days but fortunately the river stayed within its banks in our area. There was a little flooding, but it wasn’t too serious, and our neighborhood was unaffected. Other areas of the state were hit much worse.
So we are all fine here. Thank you once again for your concern. I’ll write you a longer letter in the near future.
Sincerely,
Tracy Brown
