What is Klein Blue?

要说克莱因蓝，就要从一个法国男人 Yves Klein说起，他可是法国新现实主义的领军人。

Born in 1928, Yves Klein was a French artist and the leading member of the French artistic movement called Nouveau Réalisme.

Klein was a forerunner of minimal art and pop art，也是极简主义艺术和波普艺术的先驱。

Yves Klein is particularly famous for one thing, of his International Klein Blue (IKB).

Yves Klein可谓是克莱因蓝背后的男人了，IKB就是以他的名字命名的。

Back in the 50s, Klein wanted to create a blue that represented his artistry, so he and a chemist found the perfect combination of ingredients to create a deep blue that demands attention.

Klein Blue

The RGB-code for the Klein blue is 0, 47, 167, which means there is no red, there are some green and there is a lot of blue in this color!

Before Klein blue, there was no such pure and strong blue, so it was also known as "ideal blue" and "absolute blue"!
