A recent study review the psychology effects of past quarantines that took place all over the world from events,

When it comes to COVID-19, some studies have already begun looking at how quarantines and isolation are affecting people.

That's because when the brain is overloaded with the stress hormone cortisol for long periods of time,

So we might end up doing things like drinking alcohol, smoking cigarettes,

Studies have consistently found that when people quarantine after exposure to an affected individual,

they can prevent 44% to 96% of new infections and 31% to 76% of deaths.
