DearBlocko: Why Am I SO Lazy? I feel ya, friend — I was feeling lazy all week and kept putting off making this video.

But alas, I got it done! Ya know I probably was putting this off because of all the dread I was feeling.

some recent research suggests that you might be feeling lazy and procrastinating from important tasks because of your amygdala!

The amygdala is a part of your brain that helps control your emotions and motivation.

Now, while we all feel lazy from time to time, if you are putting off doing various tasks because you are finding it very difficult to accomplish them,

and you feel fatigued and are losing interest in things you used to enjoy, these might be signs of depression and you should speak to a doctor right away.

Well, Risto, a fever dream is a term that's often used to describe a particularly vivid dream, often one that's very disturbing, scary, or emotionally intense.

A Fever dreams are also categorized by an increase in body temperature, hence the name.

While fever dreams are a pretty common thing in pop culture nowadays, there's not a crapton of actual science on them yet.

Yes, “crapton" is the scientifically-accurate word to use here.

However, a lot of what makes these nightmarish dreams so bad seems to be associated with that increase in body temperature.

Your body's a pretty well-oiled machine, and elevated temperatures throughout your body and brain could throw off your normal cognitive processes.

It's interesting to note that fever dreams may tend to have less social scenarios in them,

Well first he took me up to the top of the Life Noggin world's tallest mountain.

The view was amazing! ….and then he threw up.

Well, you didn't have to include that part.

Why? It makes it more fun! Anyway, Blocko invited several dangerous monsters for me to fight, which was so nice of him!

I even got to fight one! Sure. You definitely fought one! Then he had a skywriter write me a very sweet message in the clouds.

Unfortunately Triangle Bob was flying the plane and messed up the message.

But it was still so sweet! And then I got down one knee and popped the question.

Of course I said yes! ….and then Blocko threw up again.

Aw c'mon! But all and all it was very romantic! We better start planning actually!
