Alex给我们扩展了一点英国电视台的节目运作模式：
BBC的电视台是木有广告的！这是为了防止有倾向性的广告误导消费者，想看广告要去另外的电视台，但是你也被BBC强制购买收视许可证，还真的很贵！

This is based on the idea that if the TV channel has no adverts, then it can not be influenced to give information which is biased at all or advertising.

很好的句型，可以提升你的流利度和逻辑：

This is based on the idea that... 这是基于…的考虑，也就是“这是因为…”。

I think it's not to do with the government. I think it's more to do with the consumers.

Be to do with sth. 和…有关

It [the license] costs one year about 150 pounds [1,800 RMB yuan]! 哇那真的是豪多钱，换我也不想买这种剔除广告许可证。

Is there any essential difference between AI technology and robots?

Alex给出的答案还是很一针见血的：
机器人是能活动的物体而人工智能跟多地和软件相关。

AI can be more related to the software side of things.

Be related to 和…相关，记得前面Alex用过be more to do with sth. ?这里是替换用法

AI might not necessarily be in a product that's meant to be a computer. It could be in another product like a car for example so we wouldn't normally refer to a car as a robot.
这句话说得特别高级，因为有几个特别地道的用法。
划重点：
1 necessarily 必要地，经常用于否定句，也就是not necessarily，比如：

News might not necessarily be long but it needs to reflect the facts. 新闻可以不用长篇大论但是应当反映事实。【这是Julie刚开始从事新闻行业时，被首先培训的意识】

He has a GPS system in his car and it's supposed to be voice-activated and you are supposed to just talk to it naturally. 他的车上有个GPS导航是语音启动的，【像对人一样】直接对它讲话就可以。

Voice-activated 【可通过】语音启动的

Be supposed to do sth.

如果主语是人，表示某事就是设计好这样做

如果主语是事物，表示某事或物是设计好被这样做或者使用比如：

Cars are supposed to be driven and foods are supposed to be eaten.

一般以主语是人更常用。
