This is Everyday Grammar. I'm Lucija.
欢迎收看《每日语法》栏目,我是露西佳。
And I'm Kaveh. Lucija, do you remember our last episode on Wishes about the future?
我是卡维。露西佳,你还记得我们上节讲得关于将来的愿望吗?
Yeah, what about it?
记得,怎么了?
Well, this episode is about Wishes in the present and the past.
哦,我们这期讲现在和过去的愿望。
Oh, I wish that I had prepared more.
哦,我希望我准备得更多。
The verb Wish has many uses, but the main use is when the speaker wants reality to be different.
动词Wish有许多用法,但主要用法是说话者想让现实有所不同。
When you are talking about regrets about the past,
当你谈论对过去的遗憾时,
you can use Wish with the past perfect.
可以用Wish+过去完成时。
Wish+(That)+Past perfect.
即Wish+(That)+过去完成时。
You can leave out the word That if you want to.
如果你想,可以省略That。
I wish (that) I had studied harder at school.
我希望我在学校时学习更努力。
I wish (that) Sam had come with me on the trip.
我希望萨姆与我一起去旅行了。
I wish you hadn't told me how the film ends.
我希望你没有告诉我电影结局。
To use Wish about the present, you can use the simple past.
要表示现在的愿望,你可以用一般现在时。
I wish I knew a second language.
我希望自己知道第二种语言。
I wish I lived in Paris.
我希望我住在巴黎。
I wish it wasn't so cold.
我希望天不这么冷。
But before we go, it's important to remember one thing.
但在我们走之前,记住有件事很重要。
From all the many uses of wish, in formal speaking and writing,
从Wish的各种使用方法中,在正式的口语和写作中,
you use the subjunctive form were...not Was after Wish.
你要在Wish后用虚拟语气形式were,而不是was。
So you wouldn't say, I wish I was taller.
所以你不应该说“I wish I was taller”,
But I wish I were taller.
而是“I wish I were taller”。
And that's Everyday Grammar.
以上就是今天的全部内容。
