This can be hard to explain, but a good writing tip we can discuss is about quoted speech.

Quoted Speech is about reproducing words in writing the exact way they were spoken.

But, it also has to do with how you use punctuation and capitalization.

Today we will only cover how to quote sentences using the common quote verb SAY.
今天我们仅仅讲如何运用常用动词Say来引用句子。
Look at this sentence right here:
看看这个句子：
"My dog's name is Sam." She said.
“我的狗名叫萨姆。”她说。
This structure "'My dog's name is Sam." She said.' is common.
"My dog's name is Sam." She said.这个结构很普通。
Especailly when you end sentence with "she said" .
特别是以“she said”为结尾。
Remember to put quotation marks outside of the quote. And the punctuation mark connected to it.
记住把引号放在引用句之外。然后再用标点符号。
A comma in this case.
这个例子中是逗号。
If you begin a sentence with She Said, the structure goes like this:
如果你以“She Said”开头，句子结构是这样的：
She said, "My dog's name is Sam."
她说：“我的狗名叫萨姆。”
Remember to capitalize the first word in the quote of sentence with this structure.
记住这个结构中引用句的第一个字母大写。
These are simple to remember.
这些很容易记。
These is also the instance when the quoted sentence is separated by She Said.
也有的例子中引用句被“She Said”分开了。
Two things remember here is that you use a comma after the first part of quote,
你要记住两件事：在引用句第一部分之后用逗号，
and do not capitalize the first word after She Said.
“She Said”之后的第一个词不用大写。
