World Mourns Beloved Star Wars Princess

Carrie Fisher, known best for her role as Princess Leia in the original Star Wars trilogy, died this week at age 60. The world-renowned actress suffered a heart attack on a flight from London to Los Angeles on December 23 and died in hospital a few days later. Fisher was 19 when the original Star Wars film, A New Hope, was released. Fans were delighted when Fisher recently returned to the screen starring as General Leia Organa in the The Force Awakens (Episode VII), the first of a new Star Wars trilogy. The filming of Episode VIII is already complete, and filmmakers have confirmed that Carrie Fisher's character will be in it.
