两个素昧平生的人偶然相识，擦出火花，然而这真的是第一次交会吗？在此之前或许两人曾经因缘际会“擦肩而过一百万次了”──在人群中，拨错的电话中，经过旋转门的时候，在机场接受行李检查的时候；一片飘落的叶子，一个消失于灌木丛中的球，或一个类似的梦境，都可能是联系人与人之间的扣环。人生总有许多巧合，两条平行线也可能会有交汇的一天。

They're both convinced
他们彼此深信
that a sudden passion joined them.

Such certainty is beautiful,

but uncertainty is more beautiful still

Since they'd never met before, they're sure
