David Beckham has announced that he'll retire from professional football at the end of the season.
At the age of 38, Beckham recently won a league title with Paris Saint-Germain. He expressed thanks to the club for giving him the opportunity to play more football, but says now is the right time to hang up his boots.
The global superstar started his career at Manchester United, and has also played for Real Madrid and Los Angeles Galaxy.
On the international stage, Beckham made 115 appearances for England, playing at numerous international tournaments.
